Departure and Travel to Ireland
Your holiday begins with Door to Door collection from your home as we travel to the port for the ferry crossing to Ireland. On arrival, we continue to Mullingar for an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast.

During your time in County Mayo, you will enjoy a fascinating programme of excursions showcasing the region’s most spectacular scenery and cultural highlights.~
One of the highlights is a full day guided excursion exploring the rugged landscapes of the Wild Atlantic Way. You will travel through dramatic coastal scenery to locations such as Mulranny and Corraun, where sweeping views stretch across to Achill Island and the Atlantic Ocean. The journey continues to Ballycroy Visitor Centre, located within the remote wilderness of Wild Nephin National Park, one of Ireland’s most untouched natural environments.
Another memorable experience is your visit to the National Famine Museum at Strokestown Park House, offering a moving and informative insight into one of the most significant periods in Irish history. You will also visit the remarkable Céide Fields, a prehistoric farming landscape overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, providing a fascinating glimpse into Ireland’s ancient past.
You will also have time to visit charming coastal towns such as Belmullet and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of Ballina, located on the banks of the River Moy and known for its lively character and beautiful riverside setting.
