Day 1 Arrival

We fly to Portugal and travel to our hotel in Cascais, arriving in time for dinner.

Day 2

Lisbon This morning we enjoy a half-day guided excursion to Lisbon. Spread across seven hills on the banks of the River Tagus, Portugal’s capital is rich in history, character and architectural beauty. From its iconic wooden trams and Moorish influences to the grand Praça do Comércio and elegant boulevards created after the 18th-century earthquake, Lisbon is a fascinating city to explore. The afternoon is free for you to discover more at your own pace.

Day 3

Cascais at Leisure Today is free to enjoy Cascais as you wish. Stroll through the winding lanes of the old town, browse the local museums, relax by the marina, or spend time unwinding on one of the resort’s three golden beaches.

Day 4

Óbidos & Sintra After breakfast, our guide joins us for a full-day excursion. We begin in Óbidos, one of Portugal’s prettiest medieval towns, where cobbled streets, whitewashed houses and colourful tiles sit within ancient castle walls. Later, we continue to the enchanting town of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its romantic architecture, historic streets and magical atmosphere.

Day 5

Queluz Palace & Gardens This morning we visit the splendid Queluz Palace and Gardens, one of Portugal’s most stunning royal monuments. Celebrated for its graceful architecture and beautifully designed gardens, it offers a wonderful insight into Portugal’s royal heritage. Afterwards, we return to Cascais for an afternoon at leisure

Day 6

Departure We bid farewell to Cascais and begin our journey home to the UK.
