Day 1

You will be collected from your home and travel in comfort towards Llanberis, with suitable comfort stops along the way before arriving at the Royal Victoria Hotel for your stay.

Day 2

Today, we enjoy a lovely drive via Colwyn Bay to the "queen of Welsh resorts", Llandudno, where we spend time enjoying its beautiful Victorian architecture, Edwardian elegance, pier, shops and attractions. While there we could enjoy a ride to the top of the Great Orme on the beautifully restored tram .

Day 3

Snowdon Mountain Railway & Llanberis Lake Railway
At 3,560ft, Mount Snowdon is the highest mountain in England and Wales. We take a ride on the Snowdon Mountain Railway for a journey to "the rooftop of Wales" and, weather permitting, we will have spectacular views. The Visitor Centre has a gift shop and café where we have plenty of time. In the afternoon, we take a ride on the Llanberis Lake Railway, a narrow-gauge railway which follows the shores of the lake.

Day 4

Ffestiniog & Bala Lake Railways
After breakfast, we travel through the spectacular scenery of Snowdonia National Park as we make our way to the seaside town of Porthmadog to board a train on the Ffestiniog Railway. Sit back and relax as we enjoy the 13.5 mile journey with dramatic views of mountains, lakes and waterfalls around every corner, to Blaenau Ffestiniog. From here we travel by coach to the Bala Lake Railway a narrow gauge railway that runs along the southern shoreline of Lake Bala, the largest natural lake in Wales. We travel from Llanuwchllyn to Bala, enjoying magnificent views of the lake and beautiful Snowdonia National Park as we go, keeping our eyes peeled for possible sightings of the herons and buzzards that nest close by.

Day 5

After breakfast, we begin our comfortable journey home.

Suitable stops will be made along the way before returning you safely to your front door with fond memories of your North Wales holiday.
